Nata a Buenos Aires, Argentina, può vantare un curriculum ricco, infatti,  nella sua lunga carriera di pittrice ha avuto la possibilità di viaggiare e di esporre in diversi paesi, di confrontarsi col diverso superandone le paure e spezzandone i tabù. La scelta di vivere a Trieste non è del tutto casuale: terra di mezzo, incrocio di culture, di scambio e di attriti. Isabel Carafì divide la sua esistenza tra i continenti Sudamericano ,Americano e Eurasiatico, si  Diploma all’ Accademia Nazionale di Belle Arti  di Buenos Aires nel 1978,si trasferisce In Italia nel 1980 e consegue il Diploma all’ Accademia  di  Belle Arti di Carrara nel 1984. Vive a Carrara dal 1979 al 1991,dal 1999 risiede a Trieste.

 

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, can boast a rich curriculum, in fact, in her long career as a painter has had the opportunity to travel and exhibit in different countries, to confront the different overcoming the fears and breaking the taboos. The choice of living in Trieste is not entirely casual: middle ground, crossroads of cultures, exchange and frictions. Isabel Carafì divides her life between the South American, American and Eurasian continents, she graduated at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires in 1978, moved to Italy in 1980 and graduated from the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in 1984. She lives in Carrara from 1979 to 1991, since 1999 she lives in Trieste.
